Job Summary: Coordinate and lead the team of mechanics, ensuring efficient preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment used in mining operations. Key Highlights: 1. Lead and coordinate teams of mechanics for maintenance of mining equipment. 2. Carry out weekly planning and supervise the work performed. 3. Actively participate in resolving mechanical issues in the workshop. At Orbit Garant Chile, we are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for our Maintenance team. Main Function: Lead the team of mechanics, ensuring that preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out correctly and efficiently, defining and coordinating the necessary actions and resources to maintain and repair equipment at mining sites or off-site locations. Additionally, directly execute maintenance and repair tasks as required. Specific Responsibilities: Coordinate maintenance and repairs to be performed at mining sites. Perform weekly planning related to equipment operating at mining sites, according to their maintenance schedule. Prepare reports on executed work (preventive and corrective). Authorize and supervise equipment maintenance and repair at mining sites. Participate in workshop tasks, resolving mechanical problems. Review and approve work performed by the mechanics team at mining sites and in Cerrillos. Job Requirements: Education: Secondary-level Technical Degree in Automotive Mechanics; preferably a Higher Technical Degree. Minimum 5 years of experience in repair and maintenance of drilling rigs. Valid Class B driver's license.
