Manage relationships with international agents and clients. **Job Description** We are seeking a **Head of International Trade** to lead and coordinate import and export operations, ensuring efficient processes, accurate documentation, and compliance with customs and trade regulations. The role is responsible for optimizing international trade processes and maintaining smooth coordination with customers, suppliers, customs agents, and logistics operators. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and supervise **import and export operations**, from documentary coordination to final delivery. * Coordinate shipments, customs clearance, international and domestic transportation with agents and logistics operators. * Supervise foreign trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and relevant certificates. * Manage relationships with customs agents, suppliers, carriers, shipping lines, and international clients. * Monitor costs, timelines, and terms of operations to improve efficiency and avoid overspending. * Ensure compliance with applicable customs, tax, and international trade regulations. * Prepare management reports and performance indicators, identifying opportunities to improve foreign trade processes. **Requirements** * Professional degree in **International Trade, International Business Engineering, Commercial Engineering, Logistics**, or a related field. * **3–5 years of experience** in import and export operations. * Knowledge of **Chilean customs regulations, foreign trade documentation, and Incoterms**. * Experience coordinating customs agents, logistics operators, and international transportation. * Proficiency in **Excel and ERP systems**. * Intermediate English proficiency is preferred, especially for communication with international suppliers and clients. * Strong negotiation, organizational, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
