We aim for diversity and inclusion so that everyone can apply. **ELECTROMECHANIC TECHNICIAN:** Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems of equipment and components at the Transfer Terminal, guaranteeing their availability, safety, and operational efficiency. Contribute to fulfilling preventive and corrective maintenance programs, optimizing resources and minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities: * + Isolate and lock out work equipment to prevent accidents, in accordance with company procedures. + Perform diagnostics, adjustments, repairs, and replacements of electrical and mechanical components on mobile equipment and fixed installations. + Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, electric motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and PLCs. + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the electrical systems of Baquedano Terminal Station. + Conduct preventive maintenance of industrial lighting systems in workshops, yards, and operational areas. + Maintain the truck weighing scale (truck scale), including sensor verification, electrical connections, and calibrations. + Perform electromechanical maintenance on equipment and systems at the acid transfer plant, including pumps, motors, electric valves, and control panels. + Measure wall thicknesses of acid storage pipes and tanks (TK) using non-destructive testing equipment to prevent failures caused by corrosion or other structural damage. + Install, assemble, and repair electromechanical components. + Ensure correct installation of electrical and mechanical components according to drawings and technical specifications. + Perform periodic maintenance on mechanical and electrical components of the acid transfer plant. + Verify integrity of valves, ducts, pumps, seals, and control devices, following safety protocols. + Carry out tasks while avoiding resource waste, optimizing time and available tools. + Use equipment and tools carefully to prevent deterioration or unproductive downtime due to misuse or wear. + Apply self-care and proactive safety measures to prevent accidents. + Periodically inspect safety conditions of equipment, tools, materials, and others to ensure safe and risk-free operation. + Periodically verify that PPE, RPE, and EPA are operational. + Participate in executing procedures, regulations, and instructions established in the manufacturer’s or Train’s work guidelines. + Record material and product data and measurements, following procedures defined by Train or Supervision. + Report unsafe working conditions on equipment to reduce risks and prevent accidents. + Ensure proper safety lockout procedures for components, equipment, and electrical installations. + Wash components to decontaminate residual sulfuric acid. **Desired Profile** ------------------ **Education Level** * Higher Technical Degree in Industrial Automation, Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. **Experience** * 2–3 years of experience in similar roles. **Licenses & Certifications** * Class B driver’s license. **(Mandatory)**. * Class D driver’s license. (Preferred). 3+ years of experience Minimum education: Intermediate Technical Diploma / Technical High School Graduate
