Position Summary: We are seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Architect to design security solutions and controls for software development, cloud, and infrastructure, acting as a subject-matter expert across various initiatives. Application of security standards and best practices **Purpose of the Role:** Support business initiatives and technology projects in the capacity of a lead cybersecurity architect, designing security solutions and controls for secure software development as well as cloud and infrastructure security, serving as a cybersecurity reference point across multiple initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** Serve as a cybersecurity specialist supporting business initiatives from inception through to launch. Design technology solutions with a security-first mindset for initiatives of varying complexity. Define and apply standards and best practices in secure software development and cloud infrastructure. Build archetypes, patterns, and architectural components. Coordinate with technical and business teams. Assess impacts, model threats and risks in technology initiatives. Requirements Job Requirements **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. **Experience:** Five years of experience in roles such as Cybersecurity Architect, Application Security (AppSec) Lead, Security Infrastructure Lead, Technical Security Lead, DevSecOps Lead, or similar positions. Desirable experience in complex or regulated environments. **Knowledge:** Familiarity with security control stacks integrated into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Snyk, Cycode, Trivy, GitLab CI, etc.) **Cloud & Zero Trust Architecture Design:** Design secure architecture patterns for AWS/Azure/GCP. Desirable experience in threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE or similar). Desirable experience designing reusable secure archetypes and components in Security Champion roles, and ability to guide development teams in technically remediating complex vulnerabilities.
