At Essity, we are seeking a Basic Operator for the Production area, responsible for contributing to achieving optimal results in the manufacturing of hygiene or towel products under pre-established standards, resulting in a finished product of excellent quality and free of defects. Achieving the goal of zero accidents during production. We are located in Santiago de Chile, in the commune of Lampa, Metropolitan Region, and in this role, collaborative work with various production areas is expected. We provide shuttle buses to certain communes (Lampa, Batuco, Quilicura, Puente Alto, Maipú, Mapocho). This is an on-site position with rotating shifts (6 days on / 1 day off): * Morning shift: 7:00 – 15:00 Monday to Friday / Saturday 7:00 – 12:00 * Afternoon shift: 15:00 – 23:00 Monday to Friday * Night shift: 00:00 – 7:00 Monday / 23:00 – 07:00 Tuesday to Saturday **Note: For the night shift from Tuesday to Saturday, entry is at 23:00 hours the previous day.** You can find more information about our company, our brands, our corporate culture, and career opportunities at www.essity.com We are looking for people who embody our values, are not afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. If you identify with this role, we would love to speak with you. **Job Responsibilities** * Operate packaging machines and/or tube manufacturing machines * Maintain cleanliness conditions inside and outside the packer, bagger, and/or tube machine * Keep required supplies—such as packaging materials and adhesives—in the area to ensure uninterrupted machine operation * Perform periodic inspections of the packer, bagger, and/or tube machine, along with auxiliary equipment * Comply with defined safety and quality procedures * Know and apply process adjustments (Centerlines) for each format * Participate in executing scheduled and autonomous maintenance plans * Be eager to learn and teach **Who You Are** * Completed secondary education * Experience in production lines **What We Offer You** Our purpose—Breaking barriers for well-being—gives meaning to everything we do.
