Job Summary: We are seeking a Surveyor to assist with topographic measurements, setting-out, and construction control on railway and civil engineering projects. Key Highlights: 1. Work in a cutting-edge field with dedicated and collaborative teams. 2. Contribute to innovative projects in ecological and intelligent mobility. 3. Develop new skills and experience in the railway sector. At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what connects people. Every day, 80\.000 colleagues lead the way toward greener and smarter mobility worldwide—connecting cities while reducing carbon emissions and replacing cars. Could you be the full\-time onsite Surveyor in Chile we’re looking for? **Your Future Role** Take on a new challenge and apply your experience in surveying and construction within an emerging, cutting-edge field. You will work alongside committed and collaborative team members. Together, you’ll share the impact your role has on developing railway and civil engineering projects. Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate closely with surveying, construction, and engineering teams—supporting topographic measurements, setting-out, and construction control, as well as assisting with quantity take-offs, earthworks, equipment alignment, and more. We will rely on you to: * Specifically assist with vertical and horizontal topographic measurements, setting-out, layout, and construction control—and also support quantity take-offs, earthworks, equipment alignment, and plumbness verification of structures. * Clear terrain, construct benchmarks, stations, or other surveying elements. * Prepare and replenish work materials on site. * Manually handle and move equipment or loads within legal limits. * Transport, clean, and maintain surveying instruments (tripods, prisms, radios, leveling rods, etc.). * Position leveling rods, perform drilling, and install pegs and nails for survey points. **Your Profile** We value passion and attitude above experience. Therefore, we do not expect you to possess all listed competencies. Instead, we’ve outlined some that we believe will help you succeed and grow in this role: * Completed secondary education; preferably studies related to surveying. * Knowledge of railway works, metro construction, tracks, and catenaries (desirable). * Class B driver’s license. * Experience or knowledge in surveying and construction-related tasks. **What You’ll Enjoy** Join us in a new, enriching experience—the railway sector is here to stay, offering you opportunities to develop and acquire new skills and experience throughout your career. You’ll also: * Work with a diverse and collaborative team focused on technical excellence and innovation. * Contribute to innovative projects—apply now and be part of the movement for change with Alstom. You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you board one of our trains with friends or family, you’ll feel proud. If you’re ready for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you! **Important** As a global company, we are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity across the 63 countries where we operate. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
