Recognized globally as the benchmark for quality and integrity, SGS employs over 95,000 professionals and operates a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** **Work Location:** Antofagasta Region, with field activities conducted at the Plant, Mine, and Ascotán Salt Flat sites. * Supervise the daily execution of environmental monitoring activities. * Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and task distribution for the work team. * Verify compliance with technical, environmental, and safety procedures. * Monitor the proper execution of field sampling, measurements, and inspections. * Ensure availability and validity of equipment calibrations and verifications. * Lead coordination and progress review meetings. * Manage implementation of corrective actions in response to operational deviations. * Maintain ongoing communication with contract administration and operational staff. * Ensure adherence to established environmental monitoring programs, deadlines, and quality standards. * Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. **Requirements** We are seeking an **Environmental Monitoring Supervisor** to carry out environmental monitoring activities. * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. * Minimum of **4 years** of experience in planning, logistics, and coordinating teams for environmental monitoring. * Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation and regulations. * Experience in environmental sampling techniques. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams). * Familiarity with environmental, occupational health, and safety procedures. * Experience in coordinating field activities and operational management. * Class B driver’s license with at least 3 years of validity. * Leadership, organizational, and team coordination capabilities. * Proactive, responsible, analytical, solution-oriented, and goal-driven individual. **Additional Information** We offer: * Life insurance from date of joining the organization * Special leave entitlements * Benefits through Caja Los Andes and associated agreements * Ongoing training.
