We are looking for a Senior Wind O\&M Engineer to join our Los Cururos team: Key Responsibilities: * Develop procedures for activities carried out at wind farms and Balance of Plant (BoP) facilities. * Review, correct, and develop maintenance plans for wind farm and BoP equipment in coordination with the Planning department. * Generate, submit, activate, and close work permits for activities at wind farms and BoP facilities, for both AES personnel and contractors. * Identify wind farm control, protection, instrumentation, and automation systems and networks. * Coordinate, verify, and execute substation switching operations in coordination with the Dispatch Center. * Coordinate maintenance tasks with internal staff and contractors at substations and wind farms. * Supervise work performed by internal staff and contractors. * Prepare and analyze various reports related to wind farm and BoP equipment. * Identify equipment and/or components requiring procurement, draft technical specifications, and manage procurement (CapEx). * Participate in managing and controlling assigned OpEx and CapEx budgets (purchase requisitions, BBTTs, purchase orders, goods receipts, etc.). * Support operations at wind farms within the Sur Complex as needed. * Carry out activities related to safety, environmental, and asset management programs. Requirements: * Electrical Engineer or equivalent degree. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in power generation and/or transmission; at least 1 year must be in wind farm generation or other renewable power generation. * Knowledge of substations and low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical networks. * Familiarity with communication networks and control/automation systems in substations and power generation plants. * Desirable: knowledge of wind turbine control and automation systems. * Proficiency in: SAP; Integrated Management System (ISO 14\.001 – ISO 45\.001 – ISO 55\.001\); cost control; and maintenance planning. * Language: technical English. * Currently enrolled in the Wind Energy specialization program at UAI under the company-driven workforce transition initiative. * Preferred: residence in the region. * Location: Chile, Los Cururos, Coquimbo Region IV, Ovalle commune. * Employment Mode: On-site, operational position. **This position is also open to persons with disabilities, in accordance with Chilean Law No. 21\.015 on Labor Inclusion.** Our commitment is to accelerate the future of energy ️ If you’re seeking a new opportunity, enjoy learning, thrive on challenges, and value an outstanding workplace culture—this is an excellent opportunity for you!
