Comprehensive management of project documentation and permits. At **DFV Ingeniería y Gestión**, we are seeking a **Technical Construction Inspector** for a leading supermarket chain in **Chillán, Biobío Region**. **Position Objective:** Coordinate, supervise, and ensure the proper technical and administrative execution of construction projects, guaranteeing compliance with current quality standards and regulations. **Main Responsibilities:** * Coordinate all technical and administrative activities between the client and the construction company to ensure proper project execution. * Control, store, and back up official project documents (drawings, permits, certificates, contracts). * Manage work permits and municipal or regulatory agency procedures. * Review and validate Quality Plans, acceptance protocols for work items, and construction execution protocols. * Supervise the execution of work items, testing, and equipment calibration. * Coordinate site meetings, record progress, and generate daily and monthly reports for the client. * Monitor construction progress against schedules and planning tools (e.g., Gantt, PERT). * Review and approve payment certifications and construction change requests submitted by the construction company. * Manage project closeout, including acceptance minutes, the Unique List of Observations (LUO), and final documentation. * Support pre-construction phases, including review of technical proposals and project background information. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Construction, or a related field. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil construction inspection and/or supervision, preferably on supermarket, retail, or commercial building projects. * Residence in Chillán or willingness to relocate to the area.
