Job Summary: Coordinate, supervise, and ensure the proper technical and administrative execution of construction works, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards and applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical and administrative coordination of construction works with the contractor and client. 2. End-to-end project management, from permits to project closeout. 3. Quality and progress supervision of construction works. At DFV Ingeniería y Gestión, we are seeking a Technical Construction Inspector for a well-known Mall/Supermarket across various projects nationwide. Position Objective: Coordinate, supervise, and ensure the proper technical and administrative execution of construction works, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards and applicable regulations. Main Responsibilities: 1\. Coordinate all technical and administrative activities between the client and the construction company to ensure proper execution of works. 2\. Control, store, and back up official project documents (drawings, permits, certificates, contracts). 3\. Manage work permits and procedures before municipal and regulatory authorities. 4\. Review and validate Quality Plans, acceptance protocols for work packages, and construction execution procedures. 5\. Supervise the execution of work packages, testing, and equipment calibration. 6\. Coordinate site meetings, record progress, and generate daily and monthly reports for the client. 7\. Monitor construction progress against scheduling and planning tools (Gantt, PERT, etc.). 8\. Review and approve payment certifications and construction change requests submitted by the contractor. 9\. Manage project closeout, including acceptance minutes, Unique List of Observations (LUO), and final documentation. 10\. Support pre-execution phases, including review of technical proposals and project background information. Requirements: * Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Construction, Architecture, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in high-rise building projects, of which at least 3 years must be as a Civil Technical Construction Inspector for supermarket or shopping center projects. * Knowledge of OGUC regulations, project evaluation and management, and project control tools. * Experience in specialty projects such as electricity, potable water and sewage, piping, refrigeration, HVAC, environmental impact, traffic mitigation, waste management, and energy efficiency. * Availability to work in the Metropolitan Region.
