MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supervise the use of computer and information technology equipment made available to faculty and students across various computer laboratories. * Perform scheduled and periodic maintenance on computer, information technology, and multimedia equipment used at the University, as well as any extraordinary maintenance required. * Provide technical advice to users of computer, information technology, and multimedia equipment. * Deliver technical support for issues arising during the use of computer, information technology, and multimedia equipment. * Assist students in using computer, information technology, and multimedia equipment. * Conduct selective monitoring of Internet usage to prevent misuse, access to prohibited websites, or exposure to computer viruses that may infect the University's work or academic network. * Maintain software licenses currently in use at the University. * Physically distribute equipment. * Configure and integrate equipment into the University's work network and/or the Internet and/or the Intranet. * Inspect malfunctioning equipment, disassemble, clean, identify faults, repair them (if possible; otherwise, document and certify impossibility), and reassemble the equipment.
