An industrial-sector trading company located in Antofagasta requires a Sales Administrator to join its team, performing the following duties:
**Main Responsibilities:**
\- Serve customer requests in person, by phone, or online.
\- Create and update customer records in the ERP system.
\- Prepare quotations and update their status in the ERP system.
\- Manage customer orders (entering orders into the system, issuing sales documents and dispatch requests).
\- Track the sales cycle to closure.
\- Promptly inform customers of changes to delivery dates.
\- Manage customer returns (credit notes).
\- Review and respond to electronic portals.
\- Review and invoice warehouse consumption under consignment agreements.
\- Request creation of product codes and assembly of kits/sets.
\- Request quotations from the logistics and procurement department or alternative suppliers to locate matching merchandise.
\- Query unavailable products in inventory via supplier portals.
\- Submit purchase requests for matched products to the logistics and procurement department (requisitions).
\- Request and confirm inter-warehouse transfer availability based on received quotations or customer purchase orders.
\- Request inter-warehouse transfers and/or dispatches of goods.
\- Request customer payment confirmations and refunds for duplicate payments.
\- Request credit limit extensions and temporary customer account unlocks.
\- Review and comment on low-margin transactions in the commission report according to assigned portfolio.
\- Rectify rejected invoices.
\- Maintain physical or digital files of the following:
\- Quotations and purchase orders.
\- Pricing agreements related to assigned portfolio.
\- Generate departmental reports.
\- Actively participate in company-provided training programs.
\- Provide support during contingencies and perform other duties inherent to the sales department.
**Working Hours:**
Mon–Thu: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00–6:00 PM.
Fri: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00–5:30 PM.
**Contract Type:**
Fixed-term contract of 3 months.
Fixed-term contract of 3 months with possibility of conversion to indefinite term upon performance evaluation.
**Requirements and/or Specific Knowledge:**
\- Experience: Minimum 2 years in this position or related roles.
\- Education: Higher technical degree in fields related to business administration, with emphasis on marketing and sales.
\- Sales and negotiation techniques.
\- Technical knowledge of the industry (bearings and related products).
\- Tax legislation related to VAT and issuance of official documents.
\- Basic mathematics.
\- User-level computer skills.
\- Intermediate/Advanced Excel proficiency (verifiable).
\- Experience with Defontana ERP or similar systems.
\- Willingness to travel.
\- Health condition compatible with visits to mining sites.
