Position: KCH Mechanic/Operator – Escondida Mining Site Purpose of the Position: To carry out maintenance and repair functions for equipment, as well as operate support equipment such as forklift trucks, man lifts, overhead cranes, lubrication trucks, and crane trucks. Responsibilities: Responsible for operating lubrication trucks, cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment during disassembly and assembly of components and/or spare parts. Transportation of components, spare parts, materials, and supplies. Routine maintenance and minor repairs of trucks. Preparation of technical reports. Defensive driving. Technical knowledge and/or training in mechanics. Driver’s License Class D and A4 (both required; Class D must be held for at least 2 years, Class A4 for at least 3 years) Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. Required medical fitness and availability to work rotating day and night shifts under a 7x7/8x6 schedule: 08:00–20:00 hrs for day shifts and 20:00–08:00 hrs for night shifts. Interested candidates should ideally reside in the Second Region — either Antofagasta or Calama — or be willing to cover their own travel expenses from their city of residence to Antofagasta, where the company provides transportation, accommodation, and meals.
