You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the catching and loading process of poultry (chickens and hens), ensuring appropriate quality, animal welfare, and operational continuity according to internal client requirements (processing plant and farms), aligned with Ariztía’s logistics protocol and corporate standards. **Specific Responsibilities:** - Execute the catch schedule according to the slaughter plan provided by Planning, and timely distribute it to all involved parties. - Generate line cuts, catch operations, and crop inspections scheduled within your working hours. - Minimize damage to infrastructure, equipment, and company assets caused by contractors and their machinery; document incidents daily. - Verify that pallets carry a minimum amount of manure to the processing facility. - Supervise proper catching, number of birds per crate, and pallet stacking to avoid bruises, suffocation, or mortality during transport; provide clear guidance to the work team throughout the process. - Monitor adherence to the contractor’s service timelines for catching, ensuring compliance with internal client-defined schedules. - Monitor and record the count of chickens remaining in the barn after loading, categorized by area; personally verify the number of suffocated birds to generate area management statistics. - Prepare dispatch guides (origin of poultry, quantity, start and end times of loading, and truck details). - Report daily to the Poultry Manager on the loading status and general process anomalies (barn conditions and bird health, crane and truck status, etc.) to implement corrective actions if necessary. Minimum one year of prior work experience managing people. **Mandatory Requirement:** Class B driver’s license. **Desirable:** Knowledge of animal husbandry.
