Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Procurement Analyst to perform tactical and operational tasks in the Strategic Sourcing and Supply process for Raw Materials, Packaging, and Services. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage supply shortages and emergencies by coordinating with suppliers. 2. Identify and obtain quotations from new suppliers of raw materials and packaging. 3. Support the R&D team and obtain quotations for products to be evaluated by the Innovation team. At Castaño, we are looking for a Junior Procurement Analyst! What will you do in this role? Execute tactical, operational, and documentary support tasks within the Strategic Sourcing and Supply process for Raw Materials, Packaging, and Services, to free up analytical and negotiation capacity for Category Leads, expand coverage of the long-tail supplier base, and ensure supply continuity during shortages or emergencies. Main Responsibilities: * Manage supply shortages and emergencies by coordinating with current suppliers, alternative suppliers, or other contingency solutions. * Identify and obtain quotations from new long-tail suppliers of raw materials and packaging currently without coverage. * Update current price lists for active suppliers of raw materials and packaging. * Support Category Leads in developing new suppliers and tracking samples. * Provide documentary support to the R\+D team and obtain quotations for requested products for evaluation by the Innovation team. * Generate purchase orders and provide backup support for supplier onboarding and framework agreement creation. Requirements: * Degree in Commercial Engineering or Business Administration. * Up to two years of experience in similar roles. * Experience identifying new suppliers and obtaining quotations for new products, or related experience. * Proficiency in Excel. * SAP proficiency is desirable.
