Providing innovative technical solutions and meeting high standards DESCRIPTION We are looking for a CIVIL\-MECHANICAL ENGINEER with solid experience in engineering projects for the mining industry, oriented toward developing conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for process plants and material handling systems. The professional will participate in highly complex multidisciplinary projects, providing innovative technical solutions while meeting the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. **Requirements:** * Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Civil Engineering. * Experience in mechanical engineering for mining sector projects. * Experience with engineering consulting firms, EPCM companies, or top-tier contractors. * Experience in developing conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering. * Participation in concentrator plant, process plant, or mining infrastructure projects. **Responsibilities:** * Develop mechanical engineering for mining process plant projects across conceptual, basic, and detailed stages. * Design and review mineral handling systems, material transportation systems, process equipment, piping, pumping systems, and secondary mechanical structures. * Prepare calculation reports, design criteria, data sheets, technical specifications, and engineering documentation. * Review and validate drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation from vendors and contractors. * Coordinate interfaces with Process, Civil/Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control disciplines to ensure design integration. * Participate in tendering processes through technical evaluation of bids and selection of critical mechanical equipment. * Verify compliance with national regulations, international standards, and client specifications. * Provide technical support during construction and commissioning, addressing technical queries (RFI), reviewing procedures, and conducting site visits as required. * Identify technical optimization opportunities to improve reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency of mining facilities.
