Job Summary Axibei Solutions is seeking a qualified and experienced **Senior Accountant** to oversee key accounting activities and support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and financial decision\-making. The successful candidate will manage general accounting processes, prepare financial reports, perform reconciliations, support audits and tax compliance, and collaborate with management and operational teams to maintain strong financial controls. Key Responsibilities * Manage and review general ledger accounts and accounting transactions. * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Perform bank, balance\-sheet, and account reconciliations. * Coordinate month\-end and year\-end closing activities. * Review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. * Monitor accounting entries and ensure appropriate supporting documentation. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. * Prepare management reports and financial performance analyses. * Ensure compliance with applicable Chilean accounting and tax requirements. * Support preparation of tax documentation and statutory financial reports. * Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, and other financial professionals. * Assist with internal and external audit processes. * Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. * Identify accounting discrepancies and implement appropriate corrections. * Maintain accurate and confidential financial records. * Support improvements to accounting procedures, controls, and reporting processes. * Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, and management teams. * Assist management with financial information and accounting\-related decisions. * Ensure timely completion of accounting deliverables and reporting deadlines. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field**. * At least **5–7 years of professional accounting experience**, with significant experience in a senior accounting role. * Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting. * Knowledge of **Chilean accounting and tax requirements**. * Experience with month\-end and year\-end closing processes. * Strong reconciliation and financial\-analysis skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems. * Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet financial reporting deadlines. * High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in **technology, mining, data analytics, cloud services, or resource\-management companies**. * Knowledge of **IFRS** and financial reporting standards. * Experience with external and internal audits. * Professional accounting certification or relevant Chilean accounting credentials. * Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems. * Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and FP\&A activities. * Knowledge of financial controls and process improvement. * Experience handling multi\-department or project\-based accounting. * Professional English communication skills are an advantage.
