We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges.*** ARAUCO is seeking a **leadership professional in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related fields)** with at least **four years of experience in maintenance management of forestry and/or heavy equipment and machinery**, to serve as **Preventive Maintenance Supervisor - Arauco Zone**. The purpose of this position is to supervise and ensure the proper on-site execution of preventive maintenance guidelines and inspections by the assigned technical staff, ensuring daily compliance with the weekly maintenance program and guaranteeing safety, technical quality, and operational availability standards for forestry assets. Key responsibilities include: * Field Supervision and Team Leadership: Assign, direct, and supervise the daily tasks of the technical team; ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the weekly plan and appropriate operational and safety procedures. * Conduct In-Process Controls (IPC) of ongoing maintenance procedures to ensure work is performed correctly. * Promote continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures at the execution level. * Manage and ensure timely availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables required to implement maintenance guidelines. * Monitor proper use of mobile workshop trucks and adherence to workplace order and cleanliness (5S). * Actively participate in transferring technical knowledge and standards to Junior and Senior technicians. * Ensure the team accurately documents and reports all maintenance activities in the system (e.g., SAP PM). * Consolidate and report daily progress status of the maintenance program to management. * Drive continuous improvement of the maintenance process. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related Engineering disciplines; or Advanced Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related fields. * Minimum four years of hands-on experience maintaining forestry equipment or heavy machinery. * Class B driver’s license held for at least two years. * CORMA certification. * Willingness to reside in Arauco or surrounding areas. ***At ARAUCO, we work every day to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
