Apply exclusively at getonbrd.com. ### **Job Responsibilities** **Serverless Backend Development** * Develop backend services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions (desirable), AWS SQS, and AWS Fargate. * Implement decoupled and scalable business logic. * Design and consume REST APIs. * Handle events and asynchronous flows. **Integration and Quality** * Participate in code reviews. * Apply established development best practices and team-defined standards. * Implement automated testing. * Collaborate on debugging and incident resolution. **DevOps \& CI/CD** * Participate in continuous integration and deployment pipelines. * Collaborate on deployment automation. * Manage versioning and Git best practices. **Security** * Apply secure development principles. * Properly handle authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2, or others). * Implement data validation and secure data handling. * Adhere to fintech-specific security standards. **AI-Assisted Development** * Use generative AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to support planning, structuring, and building software solutions. * Fully understand code and solutions generated by AI models, avoiding acceptance of code without supervision or comprehension ('vibe coding'). * Ensure work continuity and autonomous problem or incident resolution, even without AI tools available. * Assume full responsibility for the quality, functionality, and correctness of committed deliverables, regardless of the degree of AI assistance used. ### **Job Requirements** **Key Technical Knowledge** **Backend / Cloud** * Serverless architectures on AWS. * REST API design. * Data modeling in DynamoDB. * Event handling and orchestration. * Observability (logs, metrics, tracing). **DevOps** * CI/CD. * Infrastructure as code. * Git (branching strategies). * Containers (desirable). **Security** * OWASP Top 10\. * Secret management. * Principle of least privilege. * Authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2, etc.). **AI-Assisted Development** * Proficiency with generative AI tools oriented toward software development (e.g., Claude Code), applied as support for planning, structuring, and building solutions.
