Most of the mine’s personnel reside in the town of Andacollo, located adjacent to the mine, or in the nearby cities of Coquimbo and La Serena. **Position Description** ------------------------- **Closing Date: June 27, 2026\.** Reporting to the Management Control Manager, the **Management Engineer** will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and advising various Divisions/Superintendencies of the Company on management-related activities, through actions aimed at achieving increasingly efficient, competitive, and sustainable resource outcomes, with the objective of adding value to the business. This position operates on a 4x3 shift schedule at the Carmen de Andacollo operation. Our site does not have a camp, but we provide shuttle buses from Coquimbo and La Serena. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Prepare, monitor, and manage the Division/Superintendency budget, maintaining control over all its components and continuously proposing optimization measures. * Lead and supervise control and management of area contracts. * Monitor budget compliance across various sub-processes of the Division/Superintendency, including Capital Projects. * Coordinate activities, develop, and maintain the Division/Superintendency costing model related to Budget, Forecast, 5YP (Five Year Plan), and LOM (Life of Mine) processes. * Continuously apply, monitor, and improve indicators and standards associated with measuring management performance. * Lead and coordinate the information system, ensuring that information relevant to key business management variables remains up-to-date, accurate, useful, and reliable, thereby effectively supporting decision-making quality. * Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required by the Company and Corporate functions. * Maintain ongoing communication with user areas through individual and/or group meetings, advising team members and delivering results and alerts during team meetings. * Promote conditions ensuring a satisfactory, safe, and stimulating work environment, with genuine commitment to personnel safety, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship, in accordance with the “Internal Regulations on Order, Hygiene, and Safety” and the “Code of Ethics and Conduct”. * Knowledge of SGEn and ISO 50\.001, Energy and Climate Change Policy, energy objectives, and legal requirements. * Actively participate in meeting objectives established for the Electrical Installation Integrity Management System (SGIIE). * Knowledge and application of ISO 55\.001 and the asset policy of the Electrical Installation Integrity Management System (SGIIE). **Requirements** -------------- * Industrial Civil Engineer, Commercial Engineer, Computer Science Civil Engineer, Accountant, or related degree. (Mandatory) * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cost management, contracts, projects, or similar roles; mining industry experience preferred. (Mandatory) * Class B driver’s license (Desirable) * Knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and Mining Processes. (Mandatory) * Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
