Laboratory Analyst (Sampling)

Job Summary: Conduct chemical analysis and sampling of water and soil, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and participate in methodology development, ensuring quality and traceability. It is globally recognized as the benchmark for quality and integrity, with over 95,000 employees and a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Responsibilities** * Perform chemical analysis and/or sampling of water and soil using predetermined techniques to meet service requirements while complying with all safety regulations, quality control standards, organizational policies, and environmental policies. * Participate in updating or developing new methodologies, including method execution, result recording, data processing, and preparation of procedures and protocols as required. * Operate, support, and maintain optimal functionality of equipment and supplies related to assigned duties, and be responsible for reporting malfunctions or replacement needs. * Accurately complete, at the required frequency, records associated with tests and equipment usage (verifications) to ensure traceability of analyses and test methods performed. **Requirements** * Formal Education: Chemical Analyst, Mid-level Technician, Higher-level Technician, University Technician, Professional Technician, or other qualifications focused on Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Environmental Science. * Experience: Ideally 1 year of experience. * Minimum Required Competencies: Practical and theoretical knowledge of analytical methods relevant to the area or service. * Knowledge: Laboratory equipment procedures and usage; safety and traceability standards in sample handling. * Class B Driver’s License (minimum 3 years of experience) * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Residence in Los Andes. **We Offer** * Life insurance from date of joining the organization * Special leave entitlements * Benefits through Caja Los Andes and associated agreements * Ongoing training
