AUDIT ASSISTANT
**Aconcagua Ltda. Pet Food Distributor** is seeking to hire an **Audit Assistant** to join its team, responsible for supporting the company’s review, control, inventory, and information analysis processes, contributing to compliance with internal procedures and timely identification of discrepancies and deviations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the execution of internal audits across various company departments.
* Review documentation, records, transactions, and supporting evidence related to operations.
* Perform administrative, commercial, and operational data controls and reconciliations.
* Identify discrepancies among sales, documents, payments, inventories, and internal records.
* Support inventory controls and conduct physical inventory reviews as required.
* Verify compliance with internal procedures and controls established by the company.
* Identify discrepancies, errors, or issues requiring further review and report them promptly.
* Prepare audit reports and summaries.
* Maintain organized records of reviews and identified findings.
* Follow up on observations and corrective actions.
* Support the implementation and improvement of internal controls.
* Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the company’s financial, commercial, and administrative information.
* Perform other duties related to the audit and internal control function.
REQUIREMENTS
* Technical or university degree in **Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration, Management Control**, or a related field.
* Minimum of **1 year** of experience in auditing, internal control, accounting, administration, or process review.
* Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**, preferably at an intermediate level.
* Ability to analyze information and identify discrepancies.
* Experience working with ERP systems or enterprise management systems is desirable.
* Availability to conduct both administrative and operational reviews.
