They feel empowered to act proactively and do what is needed at any given moment—whether handling guest requests, restocking cleaning carts, cleaning guest rooms and public areas, or performing other duties—all ensuring that hotel spaces enable a remarkable guest experience. Regardless of position, certain fundamentals are essential to success: ensuring a safe workplace, following company guidelines and procedures, respecting confidentiality, upholding quality standards, and maintaining professional attire, personal appearance, and communication. Guest Environment Experts are constantly on the move (standing, sitting, walking for extended periods) and engage in various physical tasks (moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing items under 50 pounds without assistance).
