Direct employment with a leading company Our client, a prominent industrial gas company, is looking to hire a Mechanical Technician for its plant located in Concón. Job Objective You will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance activities on plant equipment and facilities, contributing to the safe and efficient operation in accordance with established procedures. Main Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and facilities. Carry out component replacement and mechanical repair work as required by operational needs. Support the handling and resolution of contingencies that may affect plant operational continuity. Perform welding, fabrication, and repair of metal structures. Conduct periodic inspections and operational verifications on support equipment and critical facilities. Strictly comply with safety standards, internal procedures, and sound maintenance practices. Work Modality and Schedule Location: Concón (100% on-site). Rotating shift system: Morning Shift Monday to Friday, 07:00–14:00 hrs. Saturday, 07:00–17:00 hrs. Afternoon Shift Monday to Friday, 13:45–22:35 hrs. The company provides transportation from the plant to employees’ homes upon completion of this shift. Direct Reporting To: Plant Maintenance Coordinator. Requirements Secondary or higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in roles related to industrial maintenance. Knowledge and experience in welding and metal structure work. Experience using SAP or other maintenance management systems is desirable. Availability to work on-site in Concón. Availability to work under a rotating shift system. Safety-oriented mindset, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work collaboratively in a team.
