Willingness to work in teams and proactive attitude **Diesel Workshop** is looking for a **Mechanical Technician** to join our team in Antofagasta. We seek a person with workshop and maintenance experience, committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. Main Responsibilities: * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machine tools, electrical equipment, and tools. * Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical failures, performing adjustments, repairs, and operational tests. * Maintain electrical panels, electric motors, circuits, and lifting equipment. * Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments. * Prepare technical reports of performed work, complying with safety standards and procedures. Requirements: * Secondary or higher-level Technical qualification in Industrial Electricity, Electromechanics, Machine Tools, or related field. * 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and machine tools. * Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, motors, electrical panels, VFDs, bearings, and basic electronics. * Proficiency in using measuring instruments and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings. * Knowledge of LOTO procedures. * Availability for physical height work and weekend shifts. * Proactive attitude, responsibility, and willingness to work in teams.
