Sandvik Mining is seeking: **Technical Trainer Competence Development** ============================================ **FOCUSED ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PASSIONATE ABOUT WINNING?** **WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU** *" This job posting is governed by Law 21.015, which promotes the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market."* **GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:** Develop and deliver technical training for our service teams, ensuring technicians possess the necessary competencies to perform safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Sandvik standards. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Deliver competency development activities for service technicians, acting as an internal instructor and evaluator in programs linked to the technical career plan. * Identify technical and behavioral competency gaps through theoretical and practical assessments. * Plan and coordinate execution of the annual training plan, considering courses, participants, instructors, costs, logistics, and SENCE requirements. * Conduct and record technical assessments onsite and remotely. * Develop and update instructional materials for various technical levels and equipment lines. * Manage records, evidence, surveys, and documentation related to training and competency certification. * Support technical training and development programs across all stages of implementation. * Prepare reports related to training, competency development, and EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) standards. * Promote compliance with Sandvik’s and its customers’ safety policies, procedures, and standards. * Collaborate with management, supervision, specialists, and technical staff to ensure effective organizational competency development. **YOUR PROFILE:** * Technical or professional degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Heavy Machinery, or related field. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical service roles within mining or industrial equipment sectors. * Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, engines, or automation. * Experience delivering training or sharing technical knowledge. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Intermediate technical English (desirable). **OTHER REQUIREMENTS:** * High availability for domestic and international travel. * Availability to work rotating shifts according to business needs. * **Class B driver's license, minimum 3 years’ validity (mandatory).** * Availability to work in different regions of the country according to operational requirements. * Residence in Santiago (preferred), or in northern cities such as Calama or Copiapó (desirable). **Work Location: Santiago, Calama, or Copiapó.** **APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:** * **Sandvik Internal Candidates:** Access Intranet Vacancies Job ID: **R0094337\.** * **External Candidates:** www.sandvik.com “Careers”, enter code **R0094337** (create user account, **upload updated CV**, and **complete questionnaire**, if applicable). *Sandvik is an equal opportunity employer.
