Seat guests by offering them a clean and available table, pulling out chairs, placing clean and updated menus in front of each person, etc. Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance when needed. Move and arrange tables, chairs, and place settings, organizing seating arrangements for groups with special needs. Ensure proper place settings are provided and that each guest has a napkin, clean utensils, and any other items included in a standard place setting. Check menus to ensure they are up-to-date, clean, complete, and wrinkle-free. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using continuous cleaning procedures. Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining areas. Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management, and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Communicate with others using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team members to achieve common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
