Social Worker Replacement for the Specialized Protection Program against Severe Abuse and Maltreatment (PRM)

Position Summary: We are seeking a Social Worker to assess, intervene, and support children, adolescents and youth (CAAY) who are victims of severe rights violations within a protection program. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design individualized intervention plans for children, adolescents and youth (CAAY). 2. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in specialized protection. 3. Possess extensive knowledge of sexual abuse and child maltreatment. At SOS Children's Villages Chile, we are looking for a Social Worker replacement to join our team in the Specialized Protection Program against Severe Abuse and Maltreatment (PRM), located in the commune of Macul. This position aims to assess, intervene, and support children, adolescents and youth (CAAY) who have suffered severe rights violations. Main Responsibilities: * Conduct sociofamilial assessments to understand the context and needs of each CAAY. * Design individualized intervention plans focused on re-signifying harm. * Provide guidance and support to families and/or caregivers to facilitate the emotional recovery of CAAY and their integration into a safe family and community environment. * Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring compliance with protocols, policies, and guidelines established by law and the organization. Requirements: * Professional degree in Social Work. * Two to three years of experience in specialized intervention with CAAY who have suffered severe rights violations. * Extensive knowledge of sexual abuse and child maltreatment, as well as of the specialized protection system and its networks. * Experience in psychodiagnostic processes and individual, family, and restorative interventions. * Proficiency in the SIS Platform and knowledge of childhood and health networks. * Ability to interact effectively with Family Courts. * Experience in developing parenting skills, using diagnostic tools, and implementing intervention plans within specialized restorative child protection. * Knowledge and application of the NCFAS Scale.
