Operational support to the maintenance department. ### **Lo Valledor Company is currently seeking candidates for the position of:** ### **Maintenance Assistant:** **Job Objective** To control, maintain, and ensure the good condition, registration, and availability of **tools**, **equipment**, **materials**, and related resources for the maintenance department. To manage **inventory**, documentation, and warehouse information in an organized manner to support operational continuity. **Job Responsibilities** **1️⃣ Tool, Equipment, and Material Control** * Daily control of assigned tools and equipment. * Recording of entries, exits, and returns in system or spreadsheets. * Verification of condition and reporting of damages or losses. * Maintaining updated inventory of materials and PPE. * Preventing unauthorized removal of tools or materials. **2️⃣ Inventory and Warehouse Management** * Organize, classify, and maintain a clean and accessible warehouse. * Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile with recorded inventory. * Request replenishment when stock levels are low. * Support receipt, inspection, and storage of materials. * Label and code tools to ensure traceability. **3️⃣ Data and Information Recording** * Update daily records using established formats. * Record consumption of materials used in maintenance activities. * Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors. * Prepare basic inventory and movement reports. **4️⃣ Operational Support to the Maintenance Department** * Prepare and deliver tools and materials for scheduled work. * Verify safety conditions of delivered equipment. * Coordinate with foremen and technicians to ensure program compliance. * Assist with minor maintenance tasks as required. * + Collaborate during emergencies or urgent situations (including possibility of overtime). **5️⃣ Safety and Safeguarding** * Ensure proper use of tools and compliance with safety regulations. * Monitor status and availability of PPE. * Maintain signage, order, and clear pathways in warehouse areas. **Applicants must have:** * Proven experience of 1 year in similar roles/areas. * Basic computer literacy (Mandatory). * Basic knowledge of plumbing, tools, and accessories (Mandatory). * Availability to work under a **6x1 shift schedule**. * **Monday–Thursday 8:00–17:00, Friday 8:00–16:00 / Saturday or Sunday 9:00–13:00 (rotating; two Saturdays and two Sundays per month)**. * Same working hours apply on public holidays. **Compensation & Benefits:** * **Approximate net monthly salary: $634,000 CLP, plus internal company bonuses.** * Direct employment contract with the company, providing a comprehensive benefits package **upon transition to an indefinite-term contract** (birth bonus for children, education bonus, Independence Day bonus, Christmas bonus, vacation bonus, annual performance bonus, annual salary adjustment, Caja Los Andes, health and social loan agreements, among others). * Salary paid via electronic transfer on the last business day of each month, with biweekly payment option available. * Offers job stability, fixed-term and indefinite-term contracts (1 month, 3 months, and indefinite). * Work location: Pedro Aguirre Cerda.
