The position requires a teaching or educator degree awarded by a State-accredited institution, a Special-Purpose Background Certificate, a Certificate of Ineligibility for Working with Minors issued by the Civil Registry, and a Certificate of Ineligibility due to relevant abuse or intrafamily violence under Law 21\.013\. Employment will be on a fixed-term contract for the 2026 academic year, with a weekly workload of 44 chronological hours and remuneration based on the Secondary Education hourly rate. Key responsibilities include: contributing to the educational process through personal example—maintaining courteous conduct, appropriate personal appearance, and behavior consistent with the role; enforcing student discipline, requiring punctuality, proper personal appearance, and respect toward superiors; organizing and, when necessary, personally covering classes lacking assigned teachers; monitoring teacher and education assistant attendance schedules, submitting records of incidents to the School Principal by the 20th of each month; maintaining up-to-date control logs, teaching function records, student follow-up documents, and student life books; planning and coordinating duties for teachers, paraeducators, inspectors, and service assistants; authorizing students’ extraordinary departures from school; overseeing cultural, social, sports, and student welfare activities while fostering collaboration with the Student Council, Parent-Teacher Association, and alumni; supervising and managing school shifts, formations, and official presentations; preparing work schedules and assignments for support staff; ensuring proper appearance and cleanliness of the school premises and compliance with school coexistence regulations.
