Job Summary: You will assist the welder in preparing, assembling, cleaning, and positioning materials and parts for welding work at the plant. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance in assembly and preparation of materials. 2. Pre-welding and post-welding cleaning and polishing. 3. Assistance in assembly of minor structures. SIGMA S.A., an integrated services company for mining and engineering that provides solutions in construction, commissioning, and maintenance, is seeking personnel for one of its projects at the Rajo Inca Mining Site for the position of: Welder Assistant. **Job Summary:** You will assist the welder in preparing, assembling, cleaning, and positioning materials and parts for welding work at the plant. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assistance in assembly and preparation of materials. * Pre-welding and post-welding cleaning and polishing. * Transportation and organization of tools. * Assistance in assembly of minor structures. **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education or technical secondary education. * Minimum 2 years of experience as a welding assistant in mining. * Basic knowledge of tools and safety. * Training in hot work and working at heights.
