Job Summary: We are seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary project engineering team in the mining sector, developing structural designs and leading teams. Ensuring the technical quality of design engineering Metaproject Group, due to international expansion, is seeking top professionals for the position of 'Civil Structural Engineer' to join our multidisciplinary project engineering team in the mining sector. Main Responsibilities: - Develop structural designs for foundations, steel structures, connections, retaining walls, reinforced concrete elements, vibrating equipment, among others. - Lead work teams and provide technical support to collaborators. - Ensure the technical quality and integrity of design engineering. - Develop technical documents, design criteria, Technical Specifications, Calculation Reports. - Build models using design software and execute design spreadsheets. - Participate in design reviews, 3D model reviews, workshops, constructability reviews, risk workshops, interference analyses, slope stability assessments, and BIM methodology. - Support technical evaluation of bids, issue technical clarifications for bids, generate queries, review background documentation, prepare technical evaluation reports and recommendations. - Apply current regulations. Requirements: Professional Education: Civil Engineer in Civil Works with specialization in structures, or Civil Structural Engineer. Required Experience: Over 8 years, with proven experience in Industrial and/or Mining Structural Projects. Additional Requirements: - Experience in structural calculation and earthworks. - At least 6–12 years of experience in the mining and/or energy sector. - Proficiency in structural calculation software is essential. - Availability to work on a 5x2 schedule, in-person, in the commune of Providencia. - Requirements – Minimum Education: University / Professional Institute / Technical Training Center. 8 years of experience Driver's License: Class B Keywords: engineers, female engineer, eng, engineer
