We are currently seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer to join our United team at our corporate offices in Santiago. Conditions: Schedule: 5x2. Location: Huechuraba, Santiago. Contract Type: Initial Fixed-Term Contract, followed by an Indefinite-Term Contract. Objective: To design, implement, and drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives, serving as the technical reference for Lean- and Kaizen-type methodologies with a high degree of autonomy, aiming to optimize operational performance through data integration and process standardization, generating measurable impact in efficiency, quality, and performance. Responsibilities: Analyze and improve critical processes using diagnostic tools, data, and continuous improvement methodologies. Design and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean and Kaizen methodologies. Implement Lean Management practices and operational control systems ensuring process stability and sustainability. Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with business objectives. Drive process automation and data utilization for informed decision-making. Coordinate cross-functionally the execution of improvement projects included in the initiative portfolio (pipeline). Act as a technical reference, facilitating improvement events (workshops, Kaizen events) and guiding teams without formal authority. Identify root causes of operational problems and propose sustainable solutions. Standardize processes and ensure documentation and adoption of best practices. Measure and report the impact of implemented initiatives (efficiency, quality, cost savings). Requirements: Engineering degree (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field). 35 years of experience in operations, continuous improvement, or project control.
