Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Construction Inspector to coordinate, supervise, and ensure the proper technical and administrative execution of construction works at a Mall/Supermarket. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordination and supervision of the technical and administrative execution of construction works. 2. Management of permits and procedures with regulatory agencies. 3. Monitoring of construction progress and approval of payment certificates. At DFV Ingeniería y Gestión, we are currently looking for a Technical Construction Inspector for a well-known Mall/Supermarket in Ovalle, Coquimbo Region. Position Objective: To coordinate, supervise, and ensure the correct technical and administrative execution of construction works, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards and applicable regulations. Main Responsibilities: 1\. Coordinate all technical and administrative activities between the Client and the construction company to ensure proper execution of works. 2\. Monitor, store, and back up official project documents (drawings, permits, certificates, contracts). 3\. Manage work permits and procedures with municipal and regulatory agencies. 4\. Review and validate Quality Plans, protocols for acceptance of work items, and construction execution plans. 5\. Supervise the execution of work items, testing, and equipment calibration. 6\. Coordinate site meetings, record progress, and generate daily and monthly reports for the Client. 7\. Monitor construction progress against schedules and planning tools (e.g., Gantt, PERT). 8\. Review and approve payment certificates and construction change requests submitted by the construction company. 9\. Manage project closeout, including acceptance certificates, the Unique List of Observations (LUO), and final documentation. 10\. Support pre-construction phases, including review of technical proposals and project background information. Requirements: * Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Construction, Architecture, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in high-rise building projects, of which at least 3 years must be as a Civil Technical Construction Inspector for supermarket or shopping center projects. * Knowledge of OGUC regulations, project evaluation and management, and project control tools. * Experience in specialty projects such as electricity, potable water and sewage systems, piping, refrigeration, HVAC, environmental impact, traffic mitigation, waste management, and energy efficiency. * Availability to work in Ovalle, Coquimbo Region.
