Engineering, we are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Construction Technical Inspector (CTI) - Level 1 to perform the following functions in Calama. Job Objective: Responsible for ensuring that construction work is carried out in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and applicable regulations, thereby guaranteeing the quality and safety of works within mining and industrial projects. This position may involve various disciplines—such as civil, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation works—in which the CTI applies their expertise to supervise each project phase. Responsibilities: 1) Supervise compliance with applicable technical specifications and regulations. 2) Collaborate in validating construction progress and material quality control. 3) Conduct on-site inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols. 4) Manage and supervise inspection and testing protocols at the worksite. 5) Always know and comply with work procedures and instructions. 6) Prior to performing any task, identify associated risks and necessary control measures to prevent incidents. 7) Consult your supervisor for any doubts—never improvise or act independently. 8) Always practice self-care and mutual care, reporting to your supervisor any situation posing potential harm to people, property, processes, or the environment. 9) Report any situation or incident occurring during work execution so it can be investigated and corrective actions taken to prevent recurrence. 10) Know and enforce internal and client safety, occupational health, environmental, and quality standards to achieve error-free operations. 11) Actively contribute ideas or undertake activities to improve personnel safety and occupational health, environmental protection, and work quality. 12) Understand and embrace the policies and objectives of the Integrated Management System (IMS). 13) Know and comply with internal and client safety, occupational health, environmental, and quality standards. 14) Practice self-care and mutual care to prevent accidents and incidents within the organization. 15) Immediately halt any task or activity upon imminent risk to people, property, processes, or the environment. 16) Uphold respect as a non-negotiable value toward supervisors, peers, subordinates, and communities where we operate. 17) Comply fully with IMS documentation—including manuals, procedures, instructions, and other documented information. 18) Report any situation or incident occurring during work execution so it can be investigated and corrective actions taken to prevent recurrence. 19) Know, respect, and apply J.E.J.’s crime prevention system, always acting in alignment with company values.
