Because of this, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical\-Piping Engineer to join our Global Consulting Pipelines team in Chile. **Key skills required for the position** * Experience in the design of long-distance fluid transport facilities (preferably in mineral slurry transport) * Experience in generating engineering technical documents * Experience in construction, commissioning, and operational support for mining * Strong knowledge of applicable design codes and standards for long-distance fluid transport systems * Analytical skills for solving engineering problems * Knowledge in estimating investments for long-distance fluid transport system facilities * Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) * Advanced user level in all MS Office programs * Ability to lead teams in 3D design * Experience in using pipe flexibility analysis software * Experience leading multidisciplinary teams * Experience in the mining industry **Main responsibilities** * Leadership of professional teams across different projects and phases according to specific requirements * Responsible for reviewing and developing engineering documents such as calculations, specifications, and facility design drawings * Lead 3D design development * Responsible for reviewing and developing executive reports and mechanical\-piping discipline performance tracking * Support project managers in managing project requirements and coordinating with other engineering areas * Conduct site visits for inspections and testing **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering * At least 10 years of experience in similar roles * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency * Availability for travel outside Santiago and abroad * Proven teamwork experience * Availability for site visits. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth and aim to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
