At Optimiza Ingeniería y Desarrollo S.A., we are seeking a Designer – Mechanical and Piping Modeling Specialist with at least 3 years of experience in the design and 3D modeling of mechanical and industrial systems. The selected professional will be responsible for developing models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation, ensuring proper integration across disciplines and compliance with technical and quality standards. **Position Objective** Support the development of engineering projects through accurate and detailed modeling of mechanical and piping systems, contributing to the efficiency, coordination, and technical quality of deliverables in accordance with Optimiza's guidelines and standards. **Responsibilities** * Develop 3D models of mechanical and piping systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D. * Edit and create specifications, add components, and configure catalogs in Plant 3D. * Prepare design, fabrication, detail, and 3D mock-up drawings during Feasibility Engineering, Basic Engineering, and Detailed Engineering phases in mining and industrial projects. * Coordinate and review inter-disciplinary clashes (civil, electrical, structural, etc.). * Apply mechanical design and industrial piping standards (ASME, ISO, ASTM, among others). * Ensure technical quality of deliverables and adherence to deadlines. * Actively collaborate with project engineers and designers from other areas. **Requirements** * Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related field. * Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in mechanical modeling and piping systems. * Advanced and demonstrable proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, including specification editing and component configuration. * Knowledge in reading and interpreting drawings, standards, and technical specifications. * Desirable experience in industrial, mining, or energy projects. **Competencies** * Multidisciplinary teamwork. * Effective communication and results orientation. * Organization, responsibility, and attention to detail. * Proactivity and commitment to continuous improvement. **We Offer** * Join a company with over 25 years of experience in engineering and industrial project development. * Participate in national and international mining and industrial projects. * Collaborative work environment and opportunities for professional growth. * Work location: Providencia, Metropolitan Region, Chile.
