Our core is our community of collaborators, students, academics, and future talent, with whom we build day by day an environment that promotes excellence, inclusion, diversity, wellbeing, and continuous development. **At UNAB, everyone is welcome!** We are currently seeking a **Laboratory Assistant**, whose primary purpose is to prepare, clean, and organize laboratory equipment and materials required for practical activities, in accordance with each instructor’s specifications, thereby contributing to the laboratory’s efficient operational performance and ensuring compliance with equipment protocols through proper organization and cleanliness. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform cleaning and organization tasks for laboratory equipment and facilities, as well as equipment and instrument calibrations, promptly reporting any malfunctions detected. * Monitor and report compliance with laboratory usage regulations, classroom rules, and practical session schedules. * Carry out the washing, drying, and preparation of laboratory materials for proper student use, including receiving material lists and preparing items according to timetables, schedules, and material withdrawal requirements. * Retrieve used teaching-laboratory materials, sterilizing them and handling chemical substances in accordance with established protocols. * Support inventory and reagent control processes, verifying expiration dates, locating codes, and registering materials. * *At UNAB, pluralism has been defined as a hallmark of our educational process, calling us to foster spaces that promote recognition of diversity, respect, and tolerance toward others.
