Job Summary
United Riders is seeking a qualified and service\-oriented **Customer Support Specialist** to provide professional assistance to members, riders, community partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will respond to inquiries, resolve service issues, maintain customer and member records, coordinate requests with internal teams, and help ensure a positive experience across the organization's programs and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond promptly and professionally to customer, member, and stakeholder inquiries.
* Provide accurate information about United Riders programs, activities, services, and initiatives.
* Handle questions and requests through email, telephone, online platforms, and other communication channels.
* Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or assistance.
* Investigate and resolve complaints and service\-related issues.
* Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or management when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, requests, and resolutions.
* Use CRM, databases, spreadsheets, or other systems to manage customer information.
* Follow up with customers to ensure their concerns have been resolved.
* Coordinate with program, operations, volunteer, and community teams to address customer needs.
* Assist members and participants with registration, scheduling, documentation, and program\-related inquiries.
* Identify recurring customer issues and recommend improvements to management.
* Prepare basic customer service reports and maintain organized documentation.
* Handle customer and organizational information with appropriate confidentiality.
* Support a welcoming and professional experience for riders, volunteers, and community partners.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or diploma in **Business Administration, Communications, Customer Service, Management, or a related field**.
* Previous experience in customer service, customer support, member services, client relations, or a similar position.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong customer\-service and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to listen carefully, understand customer needs, and provide effective solutions.
* Strong problem\-solving and conflict\-resolution abilities.
* Experience using email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, or customer\-support platforms.
* Excellent organizational and time\-management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple customer requests while maintaining attention to detail.
* Professional, patient, dependable, and customer\-focused approach.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with **non\-profit organizations, membership organizations, community programs, motorcycle organizations, outdoor recreation, or transportation\-related initiatives**.
* Familiarity with motorcycle touring, rider safety, road infrastructure, or community development.
* Experience supporting events, tours, workshops, or community activities.
* CRM or customer\-support platform experience.
* Experience working with volunteers or community stakeholders.
* Strong reporting and documentation skills.
* Experience handling customer feedback and service improvement initiatives.
* English\-language communication skills are an advantage.
