Define design criteria, select processing technologies, and develop process configurations focused on operational efficiency and sustainability. Supervise and validate key discipline deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate process engineering into overall project development. Contribute to technical and economic evaluations, supporting decision-making by considering performance, risks, and optimization opportunities. Lead and guide the process team, fostering technical development and excellence in execution. About you: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in the mining industry, ideally in copper. Proven experience in hydrometallurgical projects, including plant design and participation in engineering phases (conceptual, basic, and/or detailed). In-depth knowledge of copper leaching processes covering the entire chain—from dry areas to cathode production (crushing, agglomeration, leaching, SX\-EW). Experience in operation and design of hydrometallurgical plants. Knowledge of leaching test design, planning, and interpretation.
