Johnson Controls, through its Westfire Mining Division, is seeking a Risk Preventionist for an important project at Minera Quebrada Blanca.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main responsibilities include:
* Compliance with preventive requirements established by law, by the mining client, and by corporate standards.
* Implementation of Minsal protocols.
* Comprehensive field inspections.
* Verification of compliance with procedures and technical recommendations.
* Hazard identification / Risk assessment.
* Preparation of management reports.
* Other duties as specifically required by the EHS Management team and/or the client.
Requirements
* Professional degree in Risk Prevention Engineering.
* SNS certification.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience at Minera Quebrada Blanca.
* Full-field experience enforcing safety regulations.
* Experience implementing Minsal protocols.
* Residence ONLY in Arica or Iquique.
* Shift schedule: 4x3\.
* Class B driver’s license preferred.
