Because together we can change our patients' lives, we are seeking a **Paramedic Driver for the Rescue Unit at our Clínica San Carlos de Apoquindo, on a fourth shift schedule.** Your main objective will be to safely drive emergency vehicles for the UC Christus Health Network in compliance with traffic laws related to operating such vehicles. **Main Responsibilities** * Provide a safe environment for patients and UC Christus Health Network staff during transportation: * Exercise driving caution * Care for hospital equipment: Operate and assist in patient care, recognizing safe scenes and potential risks during transport * Maintain constant observation and perform daily inspections of these vehicles, reporting any anomalies to supervisors: * Responsible for cleaning both the vehicle body, sanitary cabin, and control panels * Daily check of central and portable oxygen levels * Daily verification of engine operation, sirens, lights, beacons, batteries, oil and fuel levels of the vehicles * Manually and radio-record transfer times * Additionally, report upcoming maintenance dates, technical inspections, and component replacements for preventive maintenance **Requirements** Education: Emergency vehicle driver. Education: Desirable Higher Technical Degree in Nursing. Experience: Desirable two years driving ambulances transporting critical cases.
