Job Summary\*\* The Maritime Inspector is responsible for conducting both technical and professional inspections of cargoes and vessels, ensuring compliance with applicable quality, safety, and maritime industry regulations. Job Responsibilities\*\* * Conduct pre\-shipment, discharge, and transshipment inspections of various commodities (bulk, liquids, etc.) at ports and terminals. * Verify product quantity and quality, including sampling and analysis according to established procedures. * Inspect vessel conditions, holds, and loading/unloading equipment to ensure suitability and safety. * Issue detailed and accurate inspection reports, documenting findings, deviations, and recommendations. * Supervise loading and unloading operations, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety regulations. * Act as the company’s and client’s representative when interfacing with third parties (shipowners, port operators, authorities). * Stay updated on maritime regulations, industry standards, and internal company procedures. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure service efficiency and quality. * Ensure compliance with all company safety, health, and environmental policies.
