Generate technical, safety, and administrative documentation **Service Technician – Power \| Calama \| 5x2 Work Schedule** ------------------------------------------------------------ We are looking for a Service Technician with a focus on Power to join our team in Calama, under a 5x2 work schedule. If you reside in Calama or are available to relocate, we invite you to review the requirements and apply for this position. **What you’ll do:** ------------------- **Position Summary** The primary responsibility of the Service Technician is to utilize assigned resources to execute and fulfill activities committed under the client’s Purchase Order. **Position Responsibilities** Perform services as stipulated in the Purchase Order (PO), technical specifications, and in compliance with EATON regulations and standards. Ensure all EATON-provided equipment and tools assigned for performing duties are maintained in good condition. Use and maintain all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) under your responsibility in optimal condition. Conduct electrical testing in accordance with EATON safety standards. Generate technical, safety, and administrative documentation required for service delivery. Prepare, track, and report expenses, man-hours (HH), service records, reports, and protocols for service closure and billing. Report HH data, absorption, and expense reimbursements incurred during field service execution. Support the Commercial Department of EESS in preparing technical proposals by contributing technical scope definitions and identifying opportunities. Maintain test equipment (e.g., Megohmmeter, Ductor, Hipot Tester, Micrometer, etc.) **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Required Education Level** Technical or university-level degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering. **Years and Area of Required Experience** Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Technician. Ability to work at high altitude. Availability to work in **Calama under a 5x2 work schedule**. Availability to work 80% of the time on-site. **Technical Knowledge** Experience interpreting electrical schematics. Microsoft Office. Electrical safety. **Desirable** Experience with AutoCAD. Intermediate English proficiency for manual interpretation (reading and writing). Class B driver’s license held for more than 1 year.
