Mining Telecommunications Technician **Location:** Antofagasta, Antofagasta Region, Chile **Company:** ET Gadgets SpA Job Description The **Mining Telecommunications Technician** will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and supervision of telecommunications systems at mining sites, ensuring operational continuity and communication security. Responsibilities * **Telecommunications systems installation**: Implement communication networks in camps and mining sites. * **Preventive and corrective maintenance**: Ensure proper operation of equipment and systems. * **Network supervision**: Monitor communication stability and security. * **On-site technical support**: Respond to incidents and provide rapid solutions. * **Vendor management**: Coordinate external services related to telecommunications. * **Regulatory compliance**: Ensure adherence to safety standards and applicable regulations. Candidate Profile * Technical degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience in telecommunications, preferably in mining or similar industries. * Knowledge of data networks, radiofrequency, and satellite systems. * Diagnostic skills, problem-solving ability, and teamwork proficiency. * Availability to work rotating shifts and on-site.
