




Job Summary: We are seeking a Contract Administrator to lead the comprehensive administration of the Tailings and Materials Handling Service at the Mining Company’s Deposit. Key Highlights: 1. KPI management and contractual compliance We are seeking a Contract Administrator to lead the comprehensive administration of the Tailings and Materials Handling Service at Mantos de Oro Mining Company’s (Kinross) Deposit, Expansion Project for the period 2026–2028. The role will be responsible for contractual relations with the Client, technical and safety commitments fulfillment, service KPI management and contractual compliance, and overall coordination of human resources and machinery assigned to the contract. Main Responsibilities * Comprehensively administer the contract, ensuring compliance with the Execution Plan provided by the Client for tailings and materials handling at the Deposit. * Attend weekly meetings with the Kinross Contract Administrator, reviewing health, safety, environment, and service compliance management aspects based on the Project’s S-Curve. * Submit weekly availability and reliability schedules for resources (staffing and machinery), committing to the Project’s monthly progress targets. * Monitor and report on management KPIs (Safety Performance, Service Performance, Staff Availability, Machinery Availability) and Service Conformance Measurement (SCM). * Manage the monthly Payment Status Report (PSR), validating equipment hours against MDO’s online fleet control system. * Ensure compliance with the RECSS Regulation (Regulation for Health and Safety Collaborator Companies) and its 11 dimensions, avoiding evaluations below 90% compliance. * Maintain an updated “work log”, recording deviations, non-compliances, and other relevant service updates. * Coordinate with maintenance, operations, procurement, and supplier departments to ensure uninterrupted service operation and replacement of equipment within 48 hours in case of major failures. * Assess requirements for incorporation, withdrawal, or redistribution of machinery according to Project progress, notifying the Client at least one month in advance. * Manage the performance bond and other administrative and contractual obligations related to the service. Academic Qualifications * Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineer, or equivalent degree. * Additional training in contract administration, project management, or mining asset management is desirable. Experience * Minimum 10 years’ experience administering contracts in the mining sector. * Proven experience administering contracts for earthworks, tailings handling, or heavy machinery operation services. * Knowledge of management indicators (KPIs), Payment Status Reports (PSRs), and health and safety regulations applicable to mining operations (RECSS, Sernageomin, SNS). * Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with mining clients. Worksite Conditions Position located at La Coipa Mine Site, Atacama Region (131 km from Copiapó via CH-31 road), at an altitude between 3,800 and 4,700 m.a.s.l., in a cold desert climate with severe winter conditions (snow, low temperatures, and strong winds). The Client (Mantos de Oro Mining Company / Kinross) coordinates on-site accommodation, meals, and primary healthcare; transportation between Copiapó–La Coipa–Copiapó is the responsibility of the Service Provider.
