Job Summary
**Eco305 Environmental \& Business Services Chile SpA** is seeking an ***Environmental Data Assistant*** with analytical ability, organizational skills, and environmental awareness to join our team in Puente Alto. As an Environmental Data Assistant, you will support the collection, organization, validation, recording, and reporting of environmental and sustainability information. You will collaborate with environment, operations, sustainability, quality, projects, and business teams to maintain accurate environmental records, update spreadsheets and databases, assist with environmental indicators, identify incomplete or inconsistent information, and support routine reporting and compliance documentation. This position is ideal for recent graduates and professionals with limited experience interested in environmental management, sustainability, environmental sciences, data analysis, ESG, environmental compliance, or business operations.
What You Will Do
Collect and organize environmental information from approved sources.
Input environmental data into spreadsheets, databases, and approved systems.
Review submitted information to verify its integrity and consistency.
Perform routine data quality checks.
Identify missing, duplicate, or clearly inconsistent records.
Support environmental data validation.
Maintain environmental databases and records.
Maintain Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets spreadsheets.
Support monitoring of key environmental performance indicators (KPIs).
Support waste generation and disposal recordkeeping.
Support tracking of recycling and waste management data.
Support water consumption recordkeeping.
Support energy consumption tracking.
Support fuel and resource usage recordkeeping.
Support basic emissions data collection.
Maintain approved environmental incident records.
Support environmental inspection recordkeeping.
Organize environmental certificates and supporting documents.
Support basic sustainability data collection.
Support environmental performance reporting.
Prepare routine tables, charts, and summaries.
Support monthly and quarterly reporting.
Collaborate on tracking environmental compliance documentation.
Maintain document records.
Organize permits, reports, certificates, and supporting documentation.
Collaborate on audit documentation preparation.
Support environmental project documentation.
Collaborate on environmental records for suppliers and contractors.
Maintain waste management documentation, as applicable.
Collaborate on basic environmental trend analysis.
Compare current results with those from prior periods.
Highlight unusual changes for further review.
Support preparation of environmental dashboards and presentations.
Collaborate with data required for sustainability and ESG reporting, as applicable.
Maintain organized electronic environmental files.
Follow established data management and document control procedures.
Protect confidential company and environmental information.
Report significant discrepancies or potential compliance issues.
Support continuous improvement of environmental data processes.
Requirements
Completed secondary education or equivalent qualification.
Technical or university studies in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Sustainability, Natural Resources, Data Analysis, Industrial Engineering, Geography, Business Technology, or related fields are preferred.
Approximately 0\-1 year of relevant experience.
Prior professional experience in the environmental field is not mandatory.
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Internships, academic projects, environmental volunteering, sustainability projects, and relevant data projects will be considered.
Strong attention to detail.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
