Infobrokers Finanzas, a trusted financial services firm based in Concepción, is seeking a thorough, ethical, and detail\-oriented Accounts Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will lead and support the review, verification, and validation of financial records, transactions, and internal processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity. You will assess adherence to accounting standards, Chilean tax regulations, and internal control policies; identify discrepancies, risks, or areas for improvement; and prepare clear audit reports that guide reliable financial decision\-making. Required Qualifications
* **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration (major in Accounting/Audit), or related field; holding a professional accounting/auditing license is highly preferred.
* **Experience:** Minimum 1–3 years of hands\-on experience in external/internal auditing, accounting control, or financial review roles; experience in financial services or related industries is a strong advantage.
* **Knowledge:** Solid command of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Chilean financial regulations, SII tax rules, and internal control frameworks; understanding of audit methodologies and risk assessment.
* **Technical Skills:**
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial formulas, data analysis)
* Skilled in using accounting and audit software (e.g., SIIGO, SAP, or equivalent platforms)
* Ability to analyze financial data, trace transactions, and spot inconsistencies
* **Soft Skills:**
* Sharp attention to detail, high accuracy, and strong analytical thinking
* Unwavering professional ethics, integrity, and objectivity
* Clear written and verbal communication in Spanish; ability to present findings and recommendations effectively
* Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team
* Proactive mindset, critical thinking, and commitment to continuous improvement
* **Other:** Legal eligibility to work in Chile; willingness to coordinate with different departments to complete audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute periodic and ad\-hoc audits of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank records, and financial statements
* Verify that all financial transactions, supporting documents, and records comply with accounting standards, legal requirements, and internal policies
* Evaluate the effectiveness of internal financial controls, detect weaknesses, irregularities, or fraud risks, and propose corrective measures
* Reconcile financial data, cross\-check supporting documentation, and investigate any discrepancies or anomalies found during audits
* Prepare structured, accurate audit reports summarizing findings, observations, and actionable recommendations for management
* Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to resolve audit findings and implement improvements to processes and controls
* Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive financial and business information
* Support external audits and regulatory inspections as required
* Perform additional audit and control tasks assigned by management
