Waste Sorting Operator – Maipú · A leading company in the recycling industry is seeking a Waste Sorting Operator (for cardboard, plastics, cans, etc.) to join its team in the commune of Maipú. We seek responsible, committed individuals with an interest in contributing to environmental protection. Location: Camino Melipilla, Maipú Schedule: Rotating shifts. Morning Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Saturday 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM; Saturday 1:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM; Friday 9:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Net salary: CLP $640,000 + daily meal voucher. Main Responsibilities: Collection of solid or liquid, hazardous and non-hazardous waste at designated locations for each type. Sorting of materials and/or waste at the workplace according to work procedures. Maintenance of order and cleanliness in the waste handling yard and collection points. Receiving, loading, unloading, and sorting waste originating from the client’s production process. Notifying relevant parties to schedule waste removals as needed. Reporting any unknown or unusual waste encountered during operations. Completing and submitting Check Lists assigned to respective equipment. Refraining from operating equipment if malfunctioning; immediately reporting issues to shift supervisors.
