Purpose of the Position: Lead the condition monitoring strategy to maximize Komatsu machinery reliability and availability. Develop and optimize advanced predictive analysis methodologies, integrate new technologies, and ensure continuous improvement in fault diagnosis and management processes. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and factory representatives to strengthen decision-making and enhance the efficiency of condition-based maintenance across all Komatsu Latin America equipment lines and business units. Main Responsibilities: Design, develop, and lead advanced predictive monitoring strategies for critical mining equipment. Implement and optimize condition analysis methodologies using multiple predictive techniques (vibration, thermography, ultrasound, oil analysis, etc.) or new technologies such as AI, IoT, Machine Learning, and Big Data. Operationalize the launch of new Condition Monitoring services. Lead Condition Monitoring initiatives related to Komatsu factories. **Desired Profile** ------------------ Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Must be qualified and/or available to reside in Santiago. Must possess advanced knowledge of advanced machinery with verifiable, direct industry experience. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and reliability analysis specifically within mining—particularly with loading and drilling equipment (Mandatory), or equivalent experience with haul trucks or earthmoving equipment. Advanced proficiency in data correlation and improvement of fault detection. Experience integrating monitoring tools with ERP, SCADA, and IoT platforms. Knowledge of reliability engineering and condition-based maintenance (CBM), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and criticality analysis. Familiarity with mining equipment monitoring software and platforms such as Modular Dispatch, Komatsu KMAP, etc. Intermediate to Advanced English language proficiency. 6 years’ experience minimum Minimum Education Level: University degree
